Mission Statement
The mission of Pike County High School is to actively work with the local community and parents to provide students with the opportunities to develop educational and social skills required to achieve their maximum potentials and become productive citizens in society.

Students
The student population is approximately 550, including students in grades seven through twelve. A wide range of activities and clubs are provided for the students. Clubs include: Science Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Family and Consumer Sciences Club, Future Farmers of America, Latin Club, Art Club, Drama, and Nutritional Advisory Council. Honor Societies include: National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, Art Honor Society, and Latin Honor Society.
Computers
The school is equipped with a computer network that links all classrooms and the administrative offices. An administrative software package consists of attendance reporting, accounting, discipline management, student demographics, and grade reporting. All classrooms are equipped with computers that can access the Internet. We have two business computer labs with Internet access as well as a general computer lab with Internet access in which teachers may schedule their class to use. A variety of software is available for student use, student remediation and for teacher productivity. The media center and lunchroom are automated.
