Dr. Clint Foster is serving his first term as a member of the Board of Education and represents District 5 in Pike County.

Dr. Foster is a 1989 graduate of Pike County High School and was a member of the first State Championship football team. His education includes a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and Health from Troy University, Master of Science in General Science from Troy University and Doctor of Philosophy from Auburn University.

Dr. Foster is an avid proponent for students comprehending STEM subjects (sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics). Most of his research examines the attitudes and perceptions of students toward science and other STEM subjects. He has taught biological and environmental science subjects and coached several sports at the secondary level. Presently, he is employed with the Alabama Community College System and work out of offices in Mobile and Montgomery.


Dr. Foster is a member of several organizations and is an active member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Banks, Alabama. He has four children.
