Mr. Hicks was hired by the Board in March of 2003 as the Director of Finance and Operations; he is directly responsible to the Superintendent. Mr. Hicks is tasked with implementing the goals and objectives of the Board and Superintendent for the benefit and education of all students in the Pike County School system. He supervises all activities and personnel assigned to maintenance, transportation, and information technology. In addition, Mr. Hicks serves as the Board representative in his responsibility for all construction projects; he works directly with the architects on design, bids, and construction.
